I have no beef with JD (except his taste in cars) and Todd is a friend of mine.

However I see that bashing is directed at Jody because of JD's lack of respect for him, warranted or not. It doesn't seem to be directed at the material on Jody's website.

I suggest that if Jody really wants to show what he has to offer that he just gives JD a membership and JD take a look at what's there.

There are many people that dislike me including most of my entire family, but rarely has anyone said what I've taught them has been less than valuable. It could be the same with Jody although I have never been on the site. Some can sell, some can teach. Not everyone can do it all.

But to attack Todd just because he has the balls to stand his ground? I don't think that's a bad quality for an IMO to have.

Well then you missed my point. Standing your ground is great, note how I said Newby can do it in a professional way (by not going into the sewer). If someone disagrees with you stand your ground and debate it in a professional way. The hatred, name calling and losing your temper are not qualities you want to portray to potential business associates who are looking to hook up with someone that can provide leadership, guidance and support for their careers, in my opinion. And I'm not saying the name calling and such is wrong for those not on here recruiting or looking for some sort of clients.

So it's not a matter of having the "balls" to stand your ground, it's how you stand your ground. He can go around telling everyone to F*** off for all I care. It's his business. I just think it's a dumb ass way to run it. Can't picture some newby who's been lurking the forum getting ready to make the plunge going to him over Newby or Brad. But whatever.

Lot of people use what they learn elsewhere. I know of a guy in Florida that even posted a recording of Frank Stastny's training on his own website.

I agree with a lot of what JD says and also think he is dead wrong on other things. He seems to be a big enough boy to handle it. He also disagrees with some of what I say or do. I find a way to make it through the day.

As to(or too or two or tu)who invented what method? Pahleese! Nothing is new in this business. I do not know Shannon but most of what he knows in insurance someone did before him. Ask him. On the wave? I would never do the wave either. But I also do not do the wipe your feet thing or door knock or leave fake delivery notices.

You also have to add into the mix that this is not the 1st time this subject with JD has come up. JD is well respected on here and is one of the go to guys for FE knowledge, but went he posts rubbish on here that is not true it does get my ire up. I've done my best to help him understand, but he hears nothing and still talks about it like he has some kind of first hand knowlegdge. You're probably correct, maybe I should watch my words. Problem is, I've tried my best to be nice about it, over and over. I've tried completely ignoring him when he's posted it at times. Nothing has worked. I guess I was thinking some different words might work. Wrong! He's made up his mind and that's just the way it's going to be. There is no changing it, so I really have no idea what I've been thinking all this time.

I do believe you are correct though. I shouldn't stoop that level, no matter about the recruiting part. My apologies to JD and everyone else for any name-calling.
