Yep. Didn't take too long to add the damages today. $100ish for the husband's insurance, $117 for plan G, $33.80 for part D, and $105 for part B. They just took a ~$350/mo kick to the nuts.

Are you suggesting that the solution is to get rid of subsidies? Wouldn't that cause people to realize what a POS this is?

No, Somarco thinks we should subsidize Medicare as well.

Some T65's with ACA subsidies might qualify for further help with medical/drug costs after 65. Low income subsidy thru Medicare and further levels of help with Medicare/Medicaid are available. (I know most of you know about these)
These are means tested in addition to income, unlike ACA. They can get a great ACA subsidy, but if they have money in the bank above certain levels for individual/spouse, they can't get Medicare D or Medicare/Medicaid help with drug costs, Medicare B premium and out of pockets.
