Overcoming Cold Calling Reluctance

The more you do it the easier it will become.

Best thing to do when it is something that you dont want to do, is just do it and stop thinking about it.

Thank you Tampa Bay Rep for a great link.
I've explored the site pretty thoroughly and signed up for the newsletter. I even took the time to view some of Keith Rosen's videos.
This is what I love about this website. There is so much sharing. And for a newbie independent like myself it can be lonely out there. I've learned some much on this forum-THANK YOU ALL and Happy New Year Wishes for a successful and prosperous 2012!

I would rather suggest you to promote your business by using marketing techniques that are pull in nature. Pull marketing helps you get targeted and customers that can be your real prospects. And one of the important pull marketing is Mobile marketing. Like txt messaging and text2sms marketing.

that is the dumbest idea, getting insurance sales from text messages. That will pull alright, pull spam charges to you. not only are you interrupting them (nothing pulling about it) but you are costing them money.

I can't STAND it when i get text message spam. Mobile marketing is on its way out. them mobi's are done for, why? Cause all the latest smart phone's processors don't need to go to mobi extensions cause they are strong enough to cruise the main website.

I call either doofus or spammer on this one! (or both)

I agree. I don't mind door to door salespeople. Don't even mind when a telemarketer calls me. But I can't stand those text advertisments. I take whatever number sends it and go to the DNC registry site and file a complaint on that phone number for a 'pre-recorded' message.
