Phone Calls on Sunday?

Its very rude to call on a Sunday, leave that day to the Lord.

You mean, your lord? How about the Jewish sabbath? Or any other religion.

Of course, for those of us who are enlightened, we have no lord. (Other than Obama, of course).

When I lived in CA we called Sundays no problems, when I moved to the south....oh heck no! I was told we don't do business on Sundays, and hung up on a few times till I decided I didn't want to burn thru my leads or start out on the wrong foot with them.

I call on Sundays, with some discretion...I always apologize after my initial introduction and then lend some importance to the call...Seems as if the apology removes whatever steam the prospect or client may have built up...IMHO...Tony

If I'm getting internet leads and they come in that day, then I call. Otherwise, no.

I suppose it also depends on which area of the country--bible belt, good luck.
