The "check" is referring to the check from the insurance carrier. Most people respond to a FE ad to find out how to avoid having their family pay for their funeral.

And second, you're followed by 22 people. (I checked) All rookies and most haven't posted in over a year. Probably need to check the back of JD's milk carton.

The bottom line is you're running through those trailer parks for a reason.
I knew a guy like you a long time ago that reminds me of He was in his 60's and had been at Aflac 20 yrs . He had a few contracts under me . The dude used to hang out at the library in the morning . Then he take a 3 hr lunch break . Maybe talk to 2 people a day and head home . That sums up you. JD runs through the same trailer parks !!! Tell him that
 
So JD what are the agents with 20 leads doing wrong when they call them 3 times over 2 hrs and only 4 pick up? Are you denying that many many less people pick up the phone than 5-7 yrs ago? Why are they picking up your call when they get 15-20 calls each and every day they don't pick up? Why is your # sticking out as one to pick up? All the other calls use local #'s .

You keep talking about people receiving 15 - 20 calls per day. My wife and I must be the luckiest people in the country. We don't receive that many in a week. Usually maybe 4 or 5 at the most. And, I answer the ones that the caller ID shows as SPAM because one of my medical supply providers shows up in that manner.

You're not low income . I'm talking people that we work with that make $10-$20k a yr. There the ones getting killed

The first thing is the easiest. Check your phone to see if your showing up as spam or unknown. Your caller id.

And don't do it by calling a family member, client or friend. They'll show up ok since they're already in your phone. Instead, call a friend of a friend or someone that's not in your phone.

The second thing is be different from everyone else. Other agents as well as those damn telemarketers.

And third, all calls are interruptive dials. There's no magic bullet. You've got to make the calls.

The rest is personalized to fit my personality and my business model. I do it different from JD, Newby and the other FEX agents. More than one way to skin that cat.
 
I get about 60 leads a month. Sometimes 50. I don't use a dialer. And if it takes me 90 minutes to set 6 appointments then something is not going right.

You don't know because you chose to not know.
You've posted many times that you used to get 15 leads per week, and lately 10 leads per week. So you're saying you can dial those 10-15 leads for 90 min of total dial time and generate 6 appointments?

Or maybe you get 50-60 leads all at once, rather than spread over 4 weeks, and generate 6 appointments by dialing those 50-60 leads for 90 min of dial time?

And another dumbass assumption. That's nothing like me. I haven't been to a library in years and I don't take lunch breaks.

And there's nothing wrong with trailer parks. I sell there too. But it's over the phone and on my computer. Something you don't know how to do.

Thanks for sharing about checking caller ID. But how can you be different from everyone else dialing numbers? We all have to dial the number the same way. And I agree, if you don't dial the numbers nothing happens.

Like I said, it's personalized. I don't do it the way traditional FE agents do.

I only call once a day and I leave a VM and my CRM sends an email and a text. What I say in my VM is also different and that depends on whether I'm calling about FE or Medicare.

Greg your being nice and toying with these people . You've been doing this a long time and know there's no "secret" way to get people to answer the phone . Sure you can possibly get a few more callbacks by leaving very vague voicemails that pique people's curiosity . It's like leaving a delivery receipt . The only way to get more pickups and there still not great %'s is to use a dialer like kixie that rotates 100's of local #'s that aren't flagged spam .
