Who the hell wants that quality of life ?

I guess if your a young guy with a wife and kids (very expensive) you gotta do what you gotta do.

I would never do that. There would be no time to go fishing, hunting, workouts,or going to the nude bar for the afternoon.

The only poster on here that's still writing huge volumes of FE is JD. He still writes 300 applications a year with only 10 leads per week and books a minimum of 7 out of those 10 leads.

He's still got it going on.
He's not the only one. But you're limited by your mindset. It's not as difficult or demanding as you think. In fact, door knocking was more mentally draining on me than running appointments.

I'm not saying everyone can produce like JD. But it's not as impossible as you make it out to be. You seem to jump to conclusions a lot based on your own opinions or experiences. Which is mostly understandable.

But again, you're not allowing for the possibility that what some agents are doing is even possible.

I won't say this about the whole forum, but in the FE Forum there is way too much ego and a lot of differences in the people.

For instance, you might have an agent that is perfectly fine making $50K a year while another would only be satisfied making $150K a year. Different strokes for different folks. That's one of the things I see. People do different ways for their own reasons, not someone else's. And there is the problem. They only look at it from their own life. While I'm glad that the ones doing what they do are satisfied with that, it doesn't mean their way is the best for everyone.

You can take two different people, put them with the same IMO/FMO and taught the same way, one works out while the other one flounders. Doing the same thing doesn't work for everyone. You have to do what you have to do and put it with your personality. Being a fake doesn't work long. That may be the very thing that puts people out of the business... they try to BE someone else. Good luck with that.
Interesting. Can you provide some quotes where someone told another agent what to be satisfied with? And some quotes where any IMO said to do things the same way?

Or are these things only you see? I would like to read what was said. I've only been here almost 17 years. So if that stuff was posted before then I never got to read it.

This Xs 100.

Do you even get what I mean by quality of life ?

Are you a millennial?

I have a lady friend picks up dog poop and makes over a 100k a year.

She lives near a wealthy community. All she does is put flyers out in that community and pass out business cards at a yoga studio. She has 150+ clients who pay a monthly fee.

No leads to buy,no sitter a computer all day dialing. No appointment setters. No overhead.NADA.

Would you do that all day?

What's better, sitting in a car day starting at 8am getting home at 6-9pm running 10-15 appointments driving 1000 miles a week eating road garbage ?

Sitting at a monitor chained to a desk at home doing telesales?

Do you really think any of these gigs are sustainable for any length of time ?

Great way to spend your life ?

Both sound better to me than picking up poop all day.
