maybe its 300 large GC contracts? GC policies are like 50-250k a year!

But yes, DO NOT PICK UP BAD HABITS, i picked up a few bad habits from my mentor and i am still breaking them to learn new and better habits.

How did the 300 policies pay for rent and e&o for 27 years? What did he live on?

Not to beat the guy down but you are part of his retirement policy.

From what I red his book of business is not profitable, just start new.

Take your time, position your chess pieces with the end goal in mind and make your move. Learning about non compete/conflict of interest issues now could really prevent issues in the future. He will not like his gold egg laying goose leaving the nest.
