I'm very surprised that no one has recommend Dwight Yoakam. Very Rockabilly.

I have always liked Dwight.
Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, and that Bakersfield mix.

Check out The Hep Cat Boo Daddies, a south Florida rockabilly trio. Not sure if they're still around since the bass player died, but the music is still out there and still good.

OK, that was fun. Different but once I kinda let go and enjoyed the ride it was fun. A lot of the ladies dressed in Rockabilly complete with hair and makeup. Sweet!

Three bands.
The first opener was Pinata Protest - a Tex Mex Punk band. Yeah, that's what I thought also. San Antonio. They were a kick.

Second was Black Joe Lewis - He was Black and named Joe - Texas Blues with some nice guitar riffs and vocals. Austin

Main was The Reverend Horton Heat - PsychoBillie. Electrified Rockabilly. I think Whiskey may have been involved with all three. Huston. Good show.

I think I need to plan a week or so in Austin.
