RX Question

I wrote a 72 male who showed me all of the meds he takes, I thought, and the only issue was bipolar/skits. Well he was declined by Trans because of RX for Aricept. Saw him today and he had a box full of pills he never took. Said his doctor is a pill pusher. Gave him the drug and told him to try it without a diagnosis. This was filled in 12/2015 and the bottle is full. Anyone consider him or should I just write GI?

Has he been diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's?

I had a case where a guy was taking that stuff after getting jumped and beat down. He was coming off of them. SNL offered level when I called in and explained what was what.

He said he was not diagnosed. SNL won't take bipolar.

But namenda/aricept will definitely be a problem.

Lifeshield doesnt do a Rx check. You'd have to check the health questions to see if he qualifies other than that

It does ask on the app. As a matter of fact, they even directly ask about Aricept.
