I recently had two prospects tell me my long time Tmobile phone number displays as scam likely on their prepaid phone number.I don't remember ever being told this by a client/prospect before.I spoke with Tmobile and checked the registry and my phone number is not listed on scam list.I don't use any dialing technology and because i work mostly on referrals i don't even make that many outbound calls.Does anybody else using Tmobile have this issue when dialing prepaid or postpaid numbers? According to an internet search below is what is likely to cause this but none of these apply to me.This is concerning because both of these recent calls where referrals and almost cost me two sales.

  • Inconsistent volume of calls from the same number
  • Cold starting numbers, where you go from zero calls to over 100 an hour
  • Short-duration calls, which are typically under five seconds
  • Triple calling
  • Ignored calls sent straight to voicemail
  • Conversation lengths below a 15 second minimum threshold
  • Call recipients manually flagging your number as spam

I get how frustrating it can be when you get a call labeled "scam likely." These days, scammers are getting smarter and it's harder to tell what's real and what's a scam.

Sucks for salespeople when we want to get calls from people we don't know because they are potential clients so i answer every call knowing half of them are telemarketers..If all the telemarketers that call wanting to buy my house wanted to enroll in a plan i would be high cotton!

I've had people tell me they have their phone set to label any number as spam if it's not in their contacts. Could be the issue
