Family of 3 with 80K there is NO SEP right?

If they did not lose coverage or move there is no way I can help them right?

Just checking just in case it would be a good client but I am sure there is no way around this

I've heard of this trick to trigger an SEP. I haven't tried it, as I'm new to ACA, but supposedly it works.

Have the client apply for Medicaid. When they get denied, that denial letter triggers an SEP.

Anyone know if that works?

Nope and the days of bs sep's are over with as they want proof now .

Correct. Medicaid denial is a QLE.
I'm confused here. I tried doing the application this morning, but it says she is not eligible for the SEP.

question was:
Were any of these people found not eligible for Florida Medicaid or Florida KidCare (CHIP) in the past 90 days?

I said yes.

But was denied the SEP.

On the next page do for 'Recent Changes'
Am I supposed to say she "lost qualifying coverage" (Medicaid) in order to get her to qualify for the SEP?
