How can I learn how to put together a very good structured IUL? Are there any books or anything? The office I'm at has an IUL expert with two years experience and he's not the most reliable guy to meet since he's in and out of the office.

I would suggest scheduling time (on his calendar) to meet with your in-house expert. That's gonna be your best bet as he will know your products, illustration systems, etc. If you don't know that much about IUL in general, you can search the threads here, and also online is alot of good info. Most carriers that offer IUL's offer training as well.
I would also not limit your knowledge base to only IUL. Learn about all types of permanent insurance, WL, GUL, etc. Just remember for cash value products, you'll want to overfund for best results.

Guys, thank you so much. I want to learn to do the best job I can and so I will be checking these out. I'm also licensed with Genworth so I'll see the other tutorials they have.
