Thinking about getting into the business.

Yep. This thread was an AdvisorToday article (NAIFA publication) that actually advocated for new agents to go lease a Mercedes and invest in a better address so you can network with more 'affluent' clientele.

best I ever saw was having an interview at the General Agents house. GA said tongue in cheek with a response to a comment about how awesome his house & property were "if you work really, really hard and put in the time & grow your sales to MDRT levels, all this beautiful property could be mine someday". he was giving the impression that hard work & great sales could also provide agents the opportunity to live like that, but his words were tongue in cheek to actually say if all sales reps worked really hard he could receive enough overrides on their sales that someday he could pay off his property.:D

So are you saying that he basically just branded a "Private Label" training course??

I'm saying he was paid to be the face of a sales training and software company and he had nothing to do with it other than licensing his likeness and name. Not a real salesman at all.

I represent multiple Agencies all over the country.

Hit me up and let's see if any of them are a great fit for you.

Yes - I'm a Recruiter, but we have a plethora of options.

Holler if I can help.

Hello, I am thinking about getting licensed and getting into the life insurance business.

I have been told Final Expense can be like that but it can also have more charge-backs as well. Any advice is appreciated.

Don't limit yourself to Final Expense only.

Holler at me - I'll give you the skinny on the industry . . .

Hey Tom, when you recruit in lavender.....are you looking for a certain "type" of agent? :err::err:

Yes - someone that is color blind except for the color of money - Green!

Thanks. I was just considering it Final Expense because I was looking a product that was simple (not easy) but simple to sell and make some side money. At this point my schedule with my other job, not even sales related, is going to be getting busier within the next couple of weeks so I am putting this on hold for the time being. Thanks anyway though.
