Anybody have experience with either or both of these companies?

Senior Marketing Sales
and
Premier Companies?

And, if so, what if any are the major differences... good... bad... and other?

Thanks!

What products are you looking to sell?

I am contracted through both for different carriers. I have had mostly positive experiences with SMS and in fact I am currently moving my Humana contract away from another IMO to SMS.

I have to agree with the others that Senior Marketing Specialists [SMS] out of Columbia, MO is the best IMO out there. They work with a ton of agents around the country, and they have the most informed sales teams around. And of course agents are offered extremely high commissions, which makes them very competitive. They are very strong in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, and all other health products for senior citizens.

I also like the Merrell Insurance Group out of San Antonio, TX. Their expertise is Final Expense, and they have excellent training on their website. This group has the highest rating from me, for "integrity" in the business. They also offer generous commissions to all their agents.

Considering the OP said Senior Marketing Sales (I'm assuming they meant Senior Market Sales), you agreeing that Senior Marketing Specialists is "the best out there" makes no sense unless you're just trying to pimp Senior Marketing Specialists.

I'm not going to get into specifics, but I'm appointed with one of the FMO's listed on this thread. Had a great relationship with them for several years. Sent a ton of Med Supp, MAPD, PDP, annuity and a small amount of life business (he told me I was his number 2 or 3 producer in the state of Georgia - and they didn't have all my contracts). Then one day last year I posted what a carrier rep stated about this particular FMO regarding certification and even said I doubted the carrier rep was accurate with that statement. Next thing I know I'm getting a threatening message from my internal rep at the FMO. He said I posted something negative about them on the forum. It wasn't negative in any way. He was just relaying the message from management who evidently was above actually speaking to me about it. At this point, I only have one contract there and that one will eventually be gone.

So I'll just say, I'd be cautious about dealing with one that has initials that sound like ess emm ess (the one in Omaha). My internal rep is a nice enough guy, but management obviously thinks they are special and have forgotten that we aren't employees.
