Updating Great Western

I was looking over a cheat sheet and noticed a lot of good things about Great Western.

I then spent some time looking over some old threads about them on this board and found some issues that concern me (customer service, issues with draft dates).

They do seem to be a niche player, but perhaps worth adding to the arsenal...and my IMO highly recommends them.

So...did they ever resolve some of those customer service issues? Are they competitive in price? Am I mistaken about them being a niche player? What's the commission and charge back procedures like?

Horrible cust service, drafting etc. I have yet to be able to login and see my BoB.

Their prices are competitive...with Colonial Penn.

Comp is better than Gerber by 10-15 points.

They will go down to $2000 face and their level product has a few niches (CHF and organ transplant).

100% chargeback on lapse in first 3 months and 100% on death to 9 months.

Ill never write Great Western again. They are horrible.
