Vimo live transfers

Leads in volume suck and you can easily get 20 of those and be lucky just to have 3 answer the phone - all of which will yell at you, be broke or uninsurable.
3 of 20 is about right. My phone states for years are over 85% voice mail this is with highly programmed predictive dialers and complex systems.

The labor in the "shared leads" game is truly killing my business and when I say I pay over $200+ on a phone lead people laugh (I cry), but at an hourly rate + tax + benefit what is the cost to dial 100 leads and reach 5 broke un insurable people?

I am paying over $200/app either way.

Retention can be a whole other thread, I do have concerns on the type of client I am enrolling with live phone leads and retention - it makes you wonder when someone hasn't had insurance for 5 years, hears a radio ad, and decides "today is the day..." what is wrong with this picture? lol...

I know this may be hard to believe, but I close about 1 out of every 11 leads.

A few caveats:

I stick to local leads 92% of the time (within an hour of the office) The other 8% are Pa.
I make sure no more than three other brokers getting lead
I send a hard copy of the quote in the mail
Not all of the sales occur during the first 30 days. Some actually buy a policy up to 90 days down the road

And unfortunately...my average commish per sale is undoubtedly lower than just about every person on this Board (combination low Ohio rates and GA cut).

I had shared leads sources in MD where I closed 1 out of 10 - problem for me is MD is such a small state I didn't get many of those leads - lucky to get 2 or 3 a day which doesn't cut it. If I want volume - 15+ leads a day it's spam-generated and shared with God knows how many agents. I personally have better things to do with my day then call 15 leads, 90% of which don't even answer the phone. The are betters ways for me to spend my money without all the headaches and frustration associated with fighting discount plans, Mega and boiler room outfits.

and the person that is filling out the form on line that has gone to several sites looking for rates.....about half the leads I work have gone to several sites....I have a client that got hammered by 30 agents in one day.....yet I am the agent that got the application.....

You request it from the lead providers.

Understood. In my case, I'm happy with 5-6 leads per day. I'm getting an additional solid referral each day which has a high chance of a sale.

And of course, health insurance is just one part of the puzzle for me.

and even on my yellow page calls.....most of them have called at least 2 others out of the yp's..............
