Vimo live transfers

Hey John P. how you doing with the Vimo live transfers? My results are so so. I still have a few to follow up with. I hope all is well!

Rick

11 transfers, 4 sales. Still not enough to establish any type of closing percentage - I'm looking for at least 20.

Remember markets are also different. I'm in the MD market which is a well-off state in general. We also have MHIP which allows me to put anyone with a pre-ex or declineable condition on the state plan for an extremely affordable rate and I at least get $100.

I also meet with clients when I think it's necessary. Out of my 4 sales I met with 2 of those clients. One of those two would have never closed over the phone and in fact was a tough sale in person - family deal.

I have not ramped up on the Vimo transfers yet. I still have telemarketing in place that don't have the money to pay telemarketers and Vimo at the same time. I'll have to scale back telemarketing in order to put more money into Vimo.

As of now, I'm not too sure about that. I'm thinking a mix is in order. I like dealing with small biz owners - which is NOT the typical Vimo lead. As it stands now, the Vimo transfers will simply add nice income to my focus on small biz owners.

The live transfers sound interesting, but I wonder for how long? As more agents come on board, the rate will go up for each transfer, until at some point, they no longer have a decent ROI. Of course, if VIMO does more advertising, more calls in, then the rate can still be reasonable. VIMO of course, needs more agents before they can advertise more.

I'm curious where they the numbers will be in a few months. Actually, I'm more curious if someone has plans to do something similar in the P&C markets, where I can participate. I don't actively market health, except to my existing customers.

Dan

P.S. John - I think your doing the right thing making this a supplement to other plans, not an exchange for them. Deleting marketing that you have control over for marketing you don't have any control on would be a foolish step. Using the income from the 4 sales to pay for more transfers would be a smart move.
