What commission levels should I be getting ?

Transamerica showed the hierarchies above you. I was at 130% and i still had 4 different people overriding me. If your at 80% you'll have 9 levels above your overriding you .
I know this is an old post, but I never knew this. Is that a fact or a guess?

A fact . Top of heirachy trans ( nmo ) was 155-160% at trans . I had 4 levels above me as they used to show it . That's unusual though . If your at 130% and you signed contract with imo who's at 145-150% you probably have 1 nmo above that who's directly contracted with carrier . Fmo's / imo this very similar to why am agent would place most contracts with 1 fmo . If you're doing heavy business with 1 fmo then he'll give you the highest contracts with all carriers as he's making big comp on you . A fmo can get the highest comp under a top of Hierachy fmo direct to company with much less production requirements going direct . He's piggy backing a big nmo . Nmo's happy to make 5% with zero risk and zero problems . I've been preaching for yrs what comps out there . It's up to the agent to negotiate. That said there seems to have been a retrenchment a little in commissions advertised . I don't see the 120% advertised online like I used to . I seems to be mostly 100-110% now . That could be because there's so many mga's r cutting now that might be at 130-140% . To get their spread they don't like giving 120-130%
