What is Up with Kemper?

I have had absolutely zero progress getting appointed after 4 weeks of waiting. I hear others are having problems. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

I think they moved offices and it held everything up.

It normally takes 15 business days to get appointed or about 3.5 weeks. If you request multiple States it will take up to 5 weeks, especially if KY is one of your Non-Res States.

They do full background checks and KY is very slow at the State Level returning Criminal Checks.

Any Yes Answers to the application will also add some time to the review.

On the bright side, Clean apps are issued now within 5 days or less for both HHC and GIWL.

Just watch your Commissions.....I still think they get all screwed up, especially on NSF's that are re-drafted.

That's what it took me, a little more than 3 weeks.

Going on one month..I was already appointed and was just moving under Tins. I have five apps I am holding onto.

I called today and talked to a supervisor and he told me they have over 250 contacts to process; told me he would call me back but never heard anything back.

Great product but they won't survive like this. I still have a downline to transfer too. All holding apps.

I've had a few commission issues with them and they have overcharged a few clients the wrong premiums too. They are becoming a smaller version of UCT.

One would think that from a business perspective it would be smart to hire another employee to help process agent appointments. Kemper would well re-coup the employee cost with the influx of business form all the new agents. Plus, it'll add a little good will. Agent support is huge to the independent agent.
KEMPER! Get your act together!
:1biggrin:
