What state do you live and work in?

I'm a Native of the Great State of North Carolina. (In other words, I'm Tarheel born, Tarheel bred, and when I die, I'll be Tarheel Dead.)

Oh, and as far as the south getting to be the to the same pace as states like Maryland and "Jersey", uh, hopefully not in my lifetime .

My primary job is a sales assistant at a financial planning firm where we do a little of everything (investments, life, LTCi) but I'm working on a plan to transition to being a f/t rep/agent. I'm trying to decide where I want to focus.

Illinois (Health insurance for the senior market) and as for working I am not licensed yet so I am .....

studying and researching....and more studying and researching...and of course asking millions of questions (a bit exaggerated lol). I will be going to take the exam for L/H in about 3 weeks, but will be only focusing on the Senior Market for health insurance once I get all set up.

Michigan here - both working and living.

I have an agency that specializes in health insurance (both group and individual) and worksite marketing.

I'm in the Kansas City, Missouri area. I work primarily north of the Missouri River which divides Kansas City, MO in half. I work in Kansas occasionally, but my primary marketing effort is on the Missouri side of the state line.

Medicare products, FIA's, FE & LTC are my lines, but I specialize in the Medicare and FIA's. I am licensed in P&C, H&L, Variable and in Kansas they separate Crop Insurance into its own category, though I have never insured a crop in my career. I avoid anything on the P&C side and securities, though I have the 6, 63 & 65 as well. I have the defamed CSA certification, though I don't flash it around

Missouri is our home state, though we spent nearly 20 years in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho area before moving back. Aging family and a VP corporate job offer lured us home a few years back. The job went away and I got licensed up and selling insurance and securities over 5 years ago.

We love the heat and humidity. It is like penance for all the years we lived away from here
