When to add baby to ACA policy?

sounds good thank you

I don't do much ACA so I am not as much attuned to it as I am Medicare

Most carriers will add the baby to the policy as "BABY LAST_NAME" when it's born and update the info when you add them to the marketplace app.

Wouldn't it be within 60 days?
Per the official site:

Ok How does this work though?

I cant add the baby till Bday has come, I know I have 60 days to do it,
But even IF I added the baby now, the effective would not be till 07/01

She needs to take baby to baby visits right away

does that mean the baby is just automatically on plan but is officially added later and everything would still be covered from now till them

This is what I am thinking but want to be sure

Yes. The baby is covered from birth until they are officially added as a member of the plan. It has to be this way because you need a SSN to add the baby and they usually don't have one for 1-2 weeks so the baby gets covered under the mother.
