Why is this question on Sunfire this year?

Requested by carriers - seems redundant as our NPN and agent name is attached at the bottom of the app but whatever.
Close, but no cigar. We were looking for "requested by carriers because it's required to be asked by CMS." And it's not necessarily always an agent...could be a SHIP counselor or even a family member.

Do consumers have access to Sunfire? I've been answering this question 'No' because I've thought it was directed at me. Which really doesn't make any sense but I gave up trying to make sense of anything CMS-related a long time ago.

I doubt the question accomplishes anything anyway.

Did you receive help completing this enrollment?*
[Yes] [No]
One of my FMOs said we should mark that as "No" unless a non-agent is helping the beneficiary.

i.e. they assume the writing agent since it's our Sunfire login.

I assumed the same. That it's asking if they had a family member or someone else assisting them. Basically asking if they make their own decisions.

Apparently not. I just realized that the question is present on UHC, Devoted and Aetna enrollments but not Humana enrollments.
