Work from Home Call Center Sales Agent

I meant $500B. Have you heard of Aegon, our parent company? Transamerica, their U.S. subsidiary, comprised 75% of Aegon's profits last year. Not too shabby, eh?

Don't mislead and say TA is a 500 billion dollar company. Also, we all know or have been approached by these local TA career shops as they are sprouting everywhere.

I appreciate your comment, as I'm certainly not looking to mislead. However, having a $500B company in my corner affords me a number of advantages over other brokers out there. I don't think this can be overstated.

Out of curiosity, how was your experience with T/A? I'll be the first to admit that our structure, while having the blessing of allowing you to do some amazing things, can also sometimes be a curse and allow for "bad" offices to pop up as well.

What percentage of that 75% came from producers outside the WFG distribution channel?

pcbinsurance, thank you. Any feedback, good or bad, from anyone would be welcome.

Thomasm, I would wager the vast majority, especially since there are several products exclusive to WFG. I do not have the exact numbers off-hand though. Some independents have access, but most bigger broker/dealers I've spoken with do not offer T/A at all (I always ask them out of curiosity)

F150, the kool-aid tastes good. It's a lot sweeter than sour grapes. Take it easy...just joking around.

CaptiveBroke(r): Great name and great quote. Have you ever wondered why Woody Allen is right?

I still have a standing offer to anyone who would like to talk on the phone and compare notes. If there's something else out there with better product access, better agent compensation, and better professional/personal growth, then I'd like to know and switch companies.
