2021 AHIP took me 7 hours

Ok Ahip took me a little longer this year total about 4 and a half hours

Although I had a long lunch wrote an app and played on the forum as I was doing it

Seriously I think this year is the easiest yet, Last year was much tougher

just finished it. took about 1 and half. easiest its been in years... finally.

Still hate the AHIP though. At the very least, the need to lower the passing grade a bit, 90% is still ridiculous

The reason I only have 3 companies to do product training is exactly what u said. I wont dare do more training and when biz falls off im done!

the modules for the individual companies don't bug me as much as AHIP. The way they are designed, for the most part, while time consuming, its nearly impossible to fail.

AHIP however, most years, they often throw in trick questions, that are worded where two or more answers could make sense to be the corrects answer. Last year, it took me all 3 tries just to pass the dang test. Had I failed, I would have lost all my renewals. That just aint right. The industry needs to move away from AHIP.

The last two years, during re-cert time, I have been bringing up the issue of AHIP to the market managers. I encourage y'all to do the same. They put our livlihoods on the line every year with this thing

Dont be surprised if they finally allow veteran agents who are NOT actively selling MAPD be excluded from this insanity some day and still keep renewals. If they dont they will probably get a lawsuit. Too many agents voice their dismay with this AHIP red tape each year. NAHU is the first step to dethrone AHIPs monopoly and cashing in on agents $$$$

Peeps should just have someone take the AHIP for them before they lose renewals.

Who appointed AHIP to be God anyway.
