Agent Pipeline

One of their Reps calls me every week and I don't take the calls, but they do leave a message. This has bee going on for years. I've blocked some of their numbers, in the past, but another one will pop up. The punch line is that it's the same guy.

I don't get how anybody calls like this, constantly, when it's obvious the person you're calling has no interest in talking to you. It just seems insane.

As one of those guys from an FMO that does call people, I'm always going to call back someone who doesn't respond if I think they're worth it. If you're a little bit North of SC, chances are I've called you!

That said, if I actually talk to the person and they are adamant that I don't call them again, I'm not going to call them again. Maybe just answering one time and listening to him for 5 minutes will make him stop calling.

Edit: Just reread that he calls every week. That's a bit much lol

I found the best solution... get a dedicated burner phone number for your agent and agency and update on NIPR, it will update all the states. Perhaps use a visual voicemail, so you can find the pertinent calls, if there are any.

Well, I guess it would have been more accurate to say that I've spoken to him before, just being polite, and told him I was busy, but we could talk again sometime. That was at least two years ago.

He's already called me twice this week. I don't know how somebody keeps this up? What could you possibly hope to gain? He leaves message about carriers that me, and everyone else in the biz has been contracted with for years. It's just so stupid.

He's trying to get you to move your contracts over to their fmo . Competition is fierce for the top agents . The money in mapd is eye popping so their after top agents

I guess I don't see how that is too different than agents selling medicare. They are marketers selling contracts. He is just hustling, probably has your contact info in a dialer. Just playing the long game, there are bound to be agents out there who have lost relationship with their splines, and will move a contract or two.
