Americo- at It Again...

I'm just hearing about Trans pulling a plan F on an agent 18 months in. Not real clear on the details but neither is the agent it happened to.

Americo is notorious for it but they aren't alone.

I pay attention to about 75% of the people on here.... watch who you listen to.

Which percentage are you?

Hahahaha

There is allot to be said for writing with the big boys.

I put all my seizure issue, copd smokers, and dipper/chewers with them and am actually having a lot of luck with the clients sticking!

Do you really get clients with Heart Conditions issued with them? It doesn't seem to be one of their niches!

The Eagle has a been great with heart meds. Completely different story than what we had succumbed to with the Ultra Protector.

Wrote a an Eagle Premier (Level) a few weeks back:
3-Way Bypass (14 months ago)
Stroke (14 months ago/while on the operating table)
Put on warfarin 14 months ago
140units insulin

I would still use the heart med combo list in the Foresters guide when writing the Americo Eagle though. I have a very strong suspicion that same exact formula is used in the Eagle underwriting engine.

Just got an 83-year-old level coverage on Eagle from here who had cardiac surgery 13 months ago and last month 13 months post stroke level coverage. Didn't use them today but could have for a MS case. Last week level coverage for treated hepatitis C beating Liberty Bankers rate by over $10 a month. They are not the best for every situation but find me a carrier that could've covered those three people better.

Isnt the eagle product only level with hep c if not diagnosed, treated or tested positive in last 24 months?

c. Cirrhosis of the liver, liver failure or other liver diseases (excluding Hepatitis A, B, or C)? .....

From their worksheet, and a verified through underwriting.

Yes, that's one of the only times we use them.

We got another big case pushed through yesterday for heart problems between 12-24 months old.

Every carrier has its advantage, and there is power in a no -POS instant decision to, even if it is a quick No, and you can go to plan B.
