Annuity Lead Source

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

All i said Patch.I've been using annuity lead source and had success. I wouldn't have known about them. Two friends turn me on to them and they do ok. also. Its like someone else on this forum stated a lead is only as good as a agent ! I think they work hard for me.Not all appts. pan out . When they do i wrote business.

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

It is pure bull. I did it and the appts are terrible. I have lots of experience with appt setting leads and these are not good. PM me if you want details, but dont waste your time or money.

Hey I was wondering if you could send me a pm as I cant to you where I dont have 20 posts or something like that. I have sold 5 or 6 annuities, but am pretty new in this business. I have heard that appointment setting is a good way to go but dont really know who to use that has been reputable. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, but they are expensive. I know of one in Fort Worth that is experienced and reputable for Annuity leads. I used them for a couple years when they were part of a now defunct marketing group. Well over $100 for basic preset appointments, not leads.

I'll see if I can find the website.

I found the pdf file for the pricing. It is $125 per preset appt and for more qualified appts based on certain criteria the price goes up. I will share the .pdf to anyone who posts an email, but it is on my rapidshare account and I will not post it publicly.

this is not a recommendation. I would still be using them if I thought they were the best way to go, but I did write around $6 million in annuity premium in just over 2 years using this same guy and his staff to preset appointments for me.
Hey Chuck can you send me that pdf as well?

Hey Chuck can you send me that pdf as well?

The website is UNIS Teleservices - Home - Outbound, Inbound, Lead Generation, Teleservices

The specific program is not listed, but contact them and ask about preset annuity appointments. Jeff Evans is the President I think, and he is who I worked through when I was with Senior Benefit Services. It is expensive, but it really is what a decent preset appt costs when you factor in mailing expense and appt setting expenses.

As I said, I do not use them. If I wanted to get started in the Annuity Business and I had $3-5K to spend on appointments, I certainly would. At a minimum of $125 an appointment, it is not a place to learn by mistake. If you dont have a pitch book and annuity experience, you will burn the first dozen appointments. After that, if you are not selling 2 or 3 out of 12, you are wasting your time and money.

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

I don't believe you, patch. Been reading what you been saying . I'm feeling you are all over the place and not sure of the basis of sales. I'm only saying this cause you question my success and told everybody i was something else ! You are not my guru. I'm very successful with my game plan and it works. I don't sit around and wait for people for a sale . My system works and it keeps me busy ! Trust is what people need and are thankful for. Tell everybody in the area you work here and it builds. I can talk to anybody at any time.People liking you and trusting you will always lead to sale !! I'm good and a hard worker. Please don't insult me with your i can't get a sale !! Thank you

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

Believe me about what, Annuity Lead Source? I'm not sure how I offended you, but it was not my intention. You are the only one who has posted that their appts are good, so I question your success with that particular company, not your ability to sell. I'm happy for you, but that was not mine or any of the other poster's experiences. It was a very bad experience for me and I worked several years running preset appts successfully.

Maybe I misunderstood your ramblings. Sorry to offend you if I did.

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

How did you access small claims, do you live in LA? I'm in CT and thought I'd have to personally appear in court, Producersama

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

I threatened action and they refunded half the money. Otherwise, I would go to small claims court and fill out the paperwork. It's not expensive nor is it very time consuming. Then, I would have to hire a marshall to serve the papers. After that, we would both appear in small-claims court and argue our case.

I took my chances

After I spoke to a salesperson I googled the company and it brought me to this forum. I was impressed with the plethora of information on this site. I've tried mailing lists and bought phone lists from other companies in the past, the problem is it requires too much of my time and energy. I went ahead with their $1600 program and so far so good. I gave them my schedule last week and had 2 appointments this week. The 1st was a dud and I thought I was just another victim, the 2nd, yesterday was great, really great. I spoke to both father and son and have follow ups with both next week. Father was looking to take money from an IRA and put it into an annuity, son was looking for more life insurance. So far I am happy, and I will let everyone know how things proceed. The benefit far exceeds the cost, and a lead/appointment is only as good as the advisor.

Re: Annuity Lead Source?

I got maybe 8 appointments in total over a 3 month period. I order 3 or more a week and was lucky to get one. Not a single appt was qualified or good in any stretch of the imagination. I worked preset annuity appts for over 2 years with another company and know what to expect. I know that I get in the door most of the time. I know that half of them can be unqualified, stand you up, not let you in, ect. I have realistic expectations. The appts at Annuity Leads were lied to and unqualified. The appt setter made up qualifications to tell me that did not even come close to what the appts told me. Some of them were droolers and could barely speak, yet lengthy qualification conversations were related to me. Lies were told as to why I was coming. ON and ON.

I am happy you got lucky and got a good appt. I am amazed they set you 2 in a week. That happened once for me. Generally they could not set any or maybe one out of 4 ordered.

I am sure now that it was ME after reading your post and remarkable success.
