I was speaking to someone I know recently who was once a NYLIC agent back in the roaring 80's. They had left the business after a few years, and are now thinking about returning.
This agent had a face value contract called an N6. It paid renewals, he said, on the face amount written. It was supposedly a lucrative deal. Unfortunately, he can't find his old contract.
Anyway, he was told that if he were to return to NY Life, he could get it back. I said I didn't think so.
Is anyone familiar with this older contract with NY Life? I'm trying to find out how it works, since we have a friendly wager going. He'll be approaching the local office soon.
Thanks for your help!
