Appointment Setter's Realities

ftr

NFL doesn't stand for Northern Florida. I work in Michigan. I wish every FE agent in MI would move to Florida. I hear its Easy as Sunday Morning! I mean come on 95% of the population is over 65! and most of them live in double wides!

How hard can it be?

Dude, forget about Florida! It's way too hot and there's more Yanks here than anything else.....

Not to try and take this thread off its current topic...but, for you guys that use setters, how do you handle serial responders?

Now I know there's always the chance that this time they're going to buy. I've sold some of them on my second visit. Mainly because I had gotten better. But we all know, the majority of them are a waste of time. Even worse, what about when your current clients send cards in. Do you just call them yourself?

I know when I get repeat Avatar prospects, I tell my setter to DNC.

But, what re your thoughts? I just hate to waste a time slot for a potential buyer and waste $16. But I am kinda cheap...

Yea its unfortunate that whenever Louisville for Kentucky (or whoever it is that JD roots for) plays MSU, They have to earn the rite to do so.

I am not sure but I believe MSU had beaten Kentucky the over whelming vast majority of the time, when they have played.

I am not a numbers kind of guy so maybe somebody else knows the exact stats?

How did MSU not get a 1 seed? :policeman:

I picked them all the way in my bracket.

It looks like Wisconsin and kentucky are in the same bracket so if they meet again this year it'll be in the Elite 8.

Yep MSU got screwed. 3 Big 10 teams in the East and none in the West...that's screwy.

I think JD had something to do with it! I was told he called in a favor. But you are right. Oregon over MSU? Somebody needs to put down the crack pipe!

But then again MSU is very "slow footed"

You are finally catching on. I do think MSU probably deserved a 1 seed but the committee doesn't do things rationally. No way is UK a 4 seed. Especially with A&M getting a 3 seed in the easiest region. dUKe as a 4 seed would be laughable if it wasn't a regular occurrence. Hell, they should have lost 15 games instead of 10. maybe they would have gotten a 1 or 2 seed then?

But you gotta beat them all anyway. There's no difference between a 1 and 2 seed. And little difference between a 2 and a 3. Huge difference in being a 4. You have to play a 1 seed in the sweet sixteen as a 4.

Last time they screwed UK with a 4 we made it to the final four. And that time they made us a 4 in the region with the overall number 1, Ohio St. So they really ended up screwing Ohio St.

Insurance forums bracket pool?

Whose in???

yea I agree. I almost think msu at a 2 seed might be better than a 1 seed. Your either the worst 1 seed or the best 2 seed.

they have a good bracket and have eliminated Virginia a couple of times recently.

I wouldn't worry about taking it OT.....your post ended up in the middle of sports talk....lol. Plus, it wouldn't be the insurance forum if every thread ended up completely off topic.

MSU and Kentucky both dismissed early, guess it's all eyes on the Badgers now.
