Don't really use assurity. But I didn't see a question about diabetic coma. So if potential client had an episode of diabetic coma 13 months ago, are they still approved?
Also under 40 so no pos, right?

From my experience with them that would be a decline. But run the case by them just in case

Granted questions vary by state, but my app shows they are asking about coma for the past year.

2. In the past 12 months, has the Proposed Insured been medically diagnosed with diabetes or been treated for uncontrolled diabetes
or any complications thereof, including numbness, amputation, circulation, eye or kidney disorder, coma or insulin shock

On the other hand, Assurity often strays away from the app. No interview required under age 60, but interviews are often made if there's anything they see that spikes their interest as far as meds go.

good points. also, they will require interview for almost all diabetics, regardless of age

You're correct. But being that it was 13-14 months. I might run it through...

I hate when carriers stray from the app tho...

Thanks Matt for that tip.

you are very welcome. They will hammer them with several questions such as:

Age of diagnosis
Medications used to treat, if any
Do they diet and exercise
A1C reading
Any HBP or Cholesterol treatment

Make sure the client is prepared, because if they don't know the answers they will postpone/decline

Hmmm doesnt sound like a simple issue FE policy to me, glad I have never even attempted to write them:skeptical:

If you give it a shot definitely do the interview while you are there.

Really? Is that sure of a thing to have an interview as well?

Dang. I have a few terms I was gonna write with them. Like 3000AP. If they screw my client, I will be looking elsewhere.
