BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Speaking of bacon, watch forks over knives on Netflix, great documentary on healthy eating.

I think you meant this for the "Lettuce is for losers" thread. Without animal protein, there can be no "c" in "closers."

Forks over knives is simply another vegan propaganda film. It is based off T Colin Cambell's falsified conclusions from the China Study. This is a good blog article about the major problems with Campbell's conclusions, with links to the most damaging scientific critiques of Campbell's work:

The China Study Fallacy (And Why I Stopped Being a Vegetarian)

I'm with candy bars like you are with donuts. I gained a couple of pounds from eating Mounds bars and a lot of walnuts, pecans, almonds and cashews. I haven't had any in the house for a couple of days. I lost a pound yesterday and 2 pounds the day before that. I'm at my lowest weight in probably 10 years and my energy is still good, though I think the sugar made me have less energy for a couple of days.

I'm down 20 pounds in 59 days.....4 pounds to go.:jiggy::yes:

178.2 yesterday. Dropped intermittent fasting for my normal 4 or 5 meals daily. Strangely, was getting blood pressure spikes after eating a massive once a day meal.

Also modified the macros for less protein and more fat, with one carb up day weekly instead of 2.

I'm expecting by mid-September I should breach 170 or less, which is my approximate weight goal.

I know theres a difference, but can someone explain to me simply whats the difference between the Keto Diet and Adkins?

Im sure its blatantly obvious, so excuse my ignorance.

Keto and Atkins are much the same. If you argue it with someone that thinks there's no difference, you'll have a hard time convincing them that there is. However, I believe the difference is Keto is high fat low carb. Atkins is more easily described as just low carb.

I stay away from carbs, but I make sure i get lots of fat. You'll here many keto people talk about their bacon fat jar. I throw in bacon fat to every dish, if it makes sense. I'm starting to be concerned about this as bacon is often processed too much. There has been a lot of news about this lately. So I'm looking at buying quality nonprocessed bacon online, but its expensive.

I also try to limit too much protein unless I'm working out. Not too much chicken or tuna fish.

I always found intermittent fasting difficult. I do 4 and 5 day fasts. Nothing but water and coffee. Amazingly, I don't lose much weight when doing this. I suppose if I didn't do the bullet coffee I would.

Good luck on the 170.

Measurements haven't been quite as impressive as the first 5 weeks. But only have a coupla more inches to go. Hopefully I didn't lose much weight in the process, but I have a bad feeling I might be under 200 bills. :1arghh:
But we'll see once I resume consistent progressive barbell training and taking advantage of muscle memory instead of just daily cardio crap.

I have a problem with muscle memory too. I can't remember where my muscles went. :twitchy:
