Best IUL with variable loan provision

Well, the illustrations look freaking awesome...lol.

lol. I kind of knew that, but was attempting to see what the poster had been taught about pros & cons of variable loans or are they all just being trained to do everything possible to make the policy "appear" to be phenomenal.

I am seeing a ton of creative illustrations recently & honestly believe some agents don't understand all the moving parts

Fixed if for you :D

I was being nice. Didn't want to offend. I honestly feel like my comfort level of IUL is not perfect, but then when I talk to those selling a ton I feel like a rockstar.

can you imagine what is going to happen to caps & participation rates with a 10 year treasury at below 1% & heading lower? will impact lots of our products across the board, but IUL & EIA are top of mind when I think of impact of low interest rates that carriers can earn in the marketplace

What is it about a variable loan that makes it so crucial for you?

Keep in mind, you wont know which product or loan type is best for 20, 30 or 40 years. Those that always illustrate the best dont always turn out exactly as illustrated over the decades. Aggressive best case scenario illustrations sometimes get outperformed long term when actual results play out
It may be a big deal to some people - especially if they are using it for wealth building. I just need to have it in my bag as an option. Of course TA has 15% cap and a 0.75% floor - better than most - so it could out perform all of them- even though it doesn't have the variable loan option. Which IUL is most popular?

Pacific Life's PDX 2 is the top-selling IUL available today.

Which IUL is best for allowing the client to take out a variable loan?
Participating fixed rate loans and variable loans are not terribly different from one another. Personally, I think the PFRLs are easier for consumers to understand, but I prefer the transparency of VLI. All loan options have their pros/cons. What is the purpose of the IUL purchase (assuming cash accumulation)?

is it possible a variable loan could build less wealth than a fixed or index loan in various index crediting scenarios? Basically, is a variable loan guaranteed to build more wealth or only when index returns play out perfectly each year in an illustration?

In your opinion, why is the Pac Life PDX2 the top selling? Honestly asking

Is it because it best performing for client currently? Is it because it is the most aggressive in its design with multipliers to make a 6.5% average rate look more like an 8, 10 or 12%? is it because it is the more aggressive marketed by wholesalers? Or is it because it really has the lowest current projected internal costs with best caps/par rates.

thanks for answering if you do have thoughts on it
