Blind Squirrel Finds an Acorn - my First Day in the Field...

Well,

I had my first day in the field yesterday, and I certainly don't have anything to complain about.

This is a part-time opportunity for me so I had limited time last week to call/set appointments. I only had two set for Saturday afternoon so, at Spur City's urging (my upline), I headed out in the morning to door knock some leads with no phone numbers.

My first day, my first door knock, my first appointment landed me $1560 in AP (of course with some great assistance from my upline while in the house).

Too early to tell, but I may just end up door knocking on Saturday's. When I was calling to set appts I did get some resistance to meeting during the week in the evenings (my only availability). It may just be better to door knock on Saturday...we will see.

Of course, there's always driving for uBer :)

What was your reason for leaving Ben?:twitchy:

I am not sure how that idea came about to be honest.

Matt (Spur City) is my first upline relationship in the FE business. I spoke to a few different organizations and ultimately decided to work with Matt as I felt his team would be the better fit for my situation. Of course, no offense to the other organizations I spoke with -- everyone seemed upfront, professional, and helpful.

Congratulations on your first sale!

Will self driving cars require special roadways? If so, for uber, wouldn't they be more like bus transportation than specific point to point transportation, for quite some time?

Self driving cars will be safer. I can't wait until I can just input an address and eat my lunch on a way to a house and not have to worry about some dumb broad tweeting or instagraming her brunch mimosa sliding over into my lane.

Make sure to avoid any construction areas.
