Bye Bye Advanced Commissions on Approval with Transamerica

I would think that one would need at least 3k-5k to really get started and make it in this business. It would also come down to there past experience in sale. I started in June and I have already spent 16k on leads. I was trying different lead vendors and different system until I got it correct. So most agent will waste money at the beginning regardless who they choose as a up line.

You are so clueless. It doesn't help people that recruit. Companies do not wait til the draft clears to pay the agent. Drafts on 3rd, paid on 4th. If the draft was nsf they won't know for a few days and it'll charge back anyways. The only way it helps uplines is if they wait til it clears before paying the agent. You sure do spend a lot of time worrying about recruiters, companies, contestable claims, companies going out of business, TA processing 1500 apps per day......you really need a life.

The BULL gettin GANGSTA and slappin Petey w/ some TRUTH!

A prospective agent?

Times that by 5...I wouldn't recommend anyone get into this business if you didn't have a minimum of 5k to start. Either that or have some high limits on your credit cards...and have money saved up for personal expensive for at least 2-3 months OR start part time and build up some cash...many ways to skin a cat, but bottom line is you need to have some reserves...again, this is all my opinion. Getting I to insurance was not the first business I have owned though. ..I have always approached it as a business.

When I decided to get into this, I told my wife I was willing to throw 50k at it to see if it worked...that was my mentality. Thank god I didn't need any of that money, but I was going to give it a good try regardless.

This is pure and simple maths. But then the recruiters don't tell the agents this as it is all about the numbers.

----------

500 to 1000 is weak sauce in my opinion

An Agent needs more than that to get started or else I'm not messing with him

Sure do, think of all the costs upfront to operate for say a month.
lead costs, motor vehicle, food, postage, home office, personal expenses. and so on.
Then desperation lead to bad business and in no time they are out.

Boman somebody told me you live in a modular home worth about $100k . I got a $700k beach house you can rent a room in?You talk an awful lot of crap. As you see I never respond to any of your notes yet you always make a pt of responding to mine. If you don't like what I got to say simply don't respond .If you think I'm fos then simply move along.

Sir I'm curious how old are you?

IMHO, this business attracts people with little capital because of recruiters..they act like you can float leads on a credit card and pay it off when you start getting paid...they get sold a line of BS.

This is part of the reason... Most agents that come to FE "switch" from other lines of Insurance.

Most have gone broke in those lines and think that FE is an easy way to make money. Most are inherently lazy and worthless... That is why free lead programs do not work. The same way food stamps and other subsidies don't help people get back in the black.

Most of it is Ignorant agents believing $30 monthly premiums are an easy close.

Did sir erase that post knowing that there are no $700,000 beachfront properties anywhere in the United States of America.

And if there is one it's a teardown and you have to drop 1.5 million to rebuild it.

I love it when guys that have no clue about actually making more than a few hundred thousand dollars per year talk a big talk, their numbers and math don't work.

Lastly Ben is like 25 and where he lives $100,000 home is like a freaking mansion and at 25 owning a home and building a business is actually better than me age for age, and pretty impressive.

Actually thad I erased that and have nothing more to say on the subject.I can promise you I have a $700k beach 400 yds to the nicest beach in the usa. It rents for $3k a week.I got no bone to pick with you Thad so what's your purpose of screwing with me

Trans must have had some big debit balances with guys coming in writing junk business and taking off. A lot of new agents need advancement on approval for lead expenses. Does Foresters pay on approval or draft?

I am confused.... If you are sooooooo rich why for love of god don't you know the answer to this question. To be as rich as you are you don't care or need advances anyway. With your income I am sure you are as earned.
