Carrier Bonus/Tax Make Up

I may go Master Dex 10 plus but if someone has a good carrier
then with a great contract I could place 200k with your
carrier.

Goals are passing money on to the kids and
safety.

I am not a fan of the masterdex. It is a 15 year contract in a 10 year wrapper.
Sales of this product are a big reason IAs have got a black eye over the years. About 80% of major IA litigation involved this product. (ask Glenn about selling the Masterdex 10 and how that turned out for him..)

If inheritance is the goal, why are you opposed to the SPWL? It will give the most leverage.

Other option would be an inheritance rider on an IA. GA has a good one.

Great American's is good
They have 7% simple interest for 15
They have a 8% simple interest for 12

Athene's DB will beat it
8% simple interest for 10, then 5% thereafter

American Equity's Death Benefit will beat it in final years
4.5% compounded interest for a max of 200%
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Again, it is going to depend on the age of the client which and if you are going to want to go the DB route.

Aren't you recruiting agents to sell annuities?

I am...do you have a $1,000,000 case you're working on?

There is always wisdom in the multitude of council.

I have only used A rated carriers in the past so these options
are somewhat new to me.

Thanks for asking.

It's actually 800k this move if we do well with it there is another 400k she wants to move.

I work with $1mm + cases 2-3x/yr. $250k+ more often.
GAFRI is currently A rated
American Equity is currently A-
Athene is currently B++
All of above current with A.M. Best

2 of 3 are A rated companies, with Athene very close and soon I'd imagine will be after aquiring Aviva, so how are they new to you? All are major players in the fixed annuity biz, if you're recruiting & "earning" an override I'd suggest knowing them. ;)

No I do not have a million dollar case I am working on. I guess when I get one I will come on here to ask for advice on what annuity carriers are out there. But, before that, I will put a recruiting ad in the offers section for agents that want to sell annuities.
My point being is, why recruit agents if you don't even know what bonus products are out there. Wouldn't your agents be looking to you for case design? So I see it playing out like this. You recruit agents, they call you up with questions about annuities, you post the questions here, then you relay it back and collect your override. Good plan...
