This was a orphan term policy I converted after wedging out the old agent. 15 years ago. They were children of some old FE clients I also rewrote. They were max loaned out. Same old agent.
What made the case a little different was he was a disabled Vet. Their term policies were about to term out. I rewrote her easily to ONL. He would have been a decline on a traditional policy. However, I was able to exercise his WP and convert him to a WL policy @ just under $6,000AP. I also got paid on the conversion. And he was zero out of pocket.
So, a win for the client and a win for the agent.
The downside for her is her ONL term will term out. And no conversion.
