Cold Calling is powerful

Are you so desperate for your $50 subscription that you can't even tell your own client to knock it off?

I'm confused. Does Home Depot tell a carpenter how to use a hammer? Does Aston Martin force their customers to drive at or below the speed limit? This has nothing to do with money, it is not my position in life to instruct adults to "knock it off".

However, if you do believe it is important to tell people to "knock it off", then, Mrmoose (again, even if that is your real name), knock it off!

You are giving this industry a bad name. Pathetic. Shame on both of you.

Let's see:
- I am Ethics Approved by the IARFC.
- I have been quoted in several publications.
- This is a fun article: National Ethics Association
- I am a ChFC designation holder and studying for my CLU.
- I have been licensed for over 16 years
- I understand the magic of my products better than 99.9% of our industry
- Recipient of The Prudent Man award
- And I moderate & admin two Facebook groups in an effort to raise the professionalism of our industry.
- I taught a prospecting course for NAIFA
- I was invited to join the Life Happens Speakers Bureau (but I don't really do any industry speaking)

Who the hell are you and what have YOU done?

You actually just reminded me of something funny. Or, at least I think it's funny. Lying to clients, lying to underwriters, misrepresenting anything, tricking people, not returning phone calls, over charging, withholding information - it's all wrong, and I don't do it. I don't care or pay any attention to why it's wrong, what laws are involved, what trouble I can or can't get into, I don't care, it doesn't matter to me. It's just wrong, period, end of conversation.

So, when I do my continuing education, I get tested on things I deal with like coverages and underwriting every day, so I pass those no problem. But then, I get quizzed on ethics. They ask about which laws are being broken, whether it's twisting, fraud, withholding, or violation of the whatever-whatever. I don't know, it's just bad and I don't do it. I'm probably one of the most stand up honest people you'll meet, but I fail or nearly fail the ethics tests almost every time, lol.

Ha!

That's like me with AML.

Is that layering or structuring?

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure this dude shouldn't be paying his first premium with 25k in cash so...

LOL - I just re-read my post. It reminded me of this from Star Trek:

"I am Lwaxana Troi, daughter of the Fifth House, Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, Heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed. Who are you?"
Remember the few episodes where she appears on DS9 chasing after Odo like she used to Picard? I love the tie ins to the next generation they have sprinkled through DS9. Really love how o'Brian is fleshed out.

I absolutely adore that I was able to binge watch all of DS9, without commercials.

And then Voyager.

And Enterprise.

Oh my goodness, Star Trek...
