Commissions: Street level and Overrides

@Todd King

Out of the big carriers that 99% of agents know about yes it is most. Small slip up but I think you know what I meant.

Keep it up Todd, you're starting to act like the FEX crew. It's best to respectfully disagree & have a conversation about it like adults. You used to be that guy on here. What happened?

I prefer the forum that isn't filled with pissing contests but if that's the kind of reputation you want to have then go for it.

It still isn't most.

I've always called out people when I want clarification. You should also know by now, if you are going to make a statement you should be prepared to back it up. I don't think you can back that one up.

As for me lately, besides the Chantix, I'm just seeing a lot of things going on here that I'm not liking very much. Now that JD and Newby aren't around, seems the EFES guys are coming out in droves. A lot of things are being said that aren't exactly true and if you don't like me calling you out, then don't say what isn't true. That is something that I've always done.

Maybe you're seeing me post more about it because of 2 reasons. One is that there isn't as many people around to jump and make the corrections before I do, and two, seems like a few are making more and more statements that aren't true.

You should be running 100% to 115% street on whole life. Term may run 85% to 95% depending on what you sell.

Who pays that money on par WL? Not any carriers that I've seen....unless you are selling huge amount of premium, and even then....some don't. Most companies I've seen pay under 100.

They are talking about SIWL which tends to pay higher than fully underwritten WL. However, Columbian General Agent contract pays 113% on FU WL..

It didn't start out that way, but has morphed into it. The OP just asked about commissions in general. He/she was not specific.
