Constructive criticism about the forum

I cannot figure out if people are jealous of John or if there is something I am missing. Seems like he is providing discounts and training for far less than what most new agents would lose in overwrites.

John forget the haters - you are doing a good job and the potential in the future is HUGE. To me this is real simple - if you don't like the association - do not join.

I do not like the ACLU - therefore they do not get any of my money. I do not care that they exist, and do not disagree with EVERYTHING they do, I just don't give them my hard earned dollar.

I am however very proud of my NRA membership, and the duffle bag this year was really outstanding when I renewed.

If there was not market for what John is doing he would have no members it is really that simple. I prefer someone opinionated running an association then some corporate mouse that is worthless. We have enough of those...

That is very well said. I'm not a fan of joining many associations - so I don't. I do not, however, entrench myself in bitterness because I don't believe in what they promote. To their members they have value and that's all that counts.

The 3(?) whole members who are vocal about what I'm doing (wow....3 people don't like it?) are inconsequential and as you can see - ineffective as they simply waste time they will never get back by even botherting to post about there thereby giving what I'm doing yet even more press.....hence I'm more than happy to continue the thread.

The value of anything is determined, to me, by referrals. It's one thing to gain members, it's another to keep them. It's quite another with most of the current members are referrals.

Says a lot. Says a lot more than the three whole members of this board who disagree with what I'm doing.

I said this before....if those three people are pissed at what I'm doing now, they're gonna have an anyurism with what's coming up.

"acceptance" would be my word of the day if you don't agree with what I'm doing.

We are doing absolutely fantastic things! The growth is nothing more then stunning - we should have IHIAA E&O shortly (we're being underwritten now) which will be great.

All the agents getting together in a positive environment - trading success stories and information is exactly what I wanted to happen.

Starting next week we will have 4 people running training - within about 6 months we should have about 10 people runnking various training.

Keeping everyone out of bad contracts, bad lead sources and just the daily morning chats are a total blast.

If you would like to contine to dig into what I'm doing just ask yourself this:

1) Do you affect anything? No
2) Are you going to stop the growth? No
3) Am I going to shut it down? No

So waste all the mental energy you want.

This thread is really a caricature of itself. Everyone should reread the first post again...

Sam, now you very well know I get kinda of sick pleasure with messing with some of the old farts on this board - watching them go on and on.

Don't tell me it's not fun to watch some of these guys get all bent out of shape when I post certain things.

The degree of predictability on this board is hilarious.

I do not, however, entrench myself in bitterness

OK, so let's call a spade...a spade.

You've kept members for what...two months?

So if that's EXACTLY what you wanted to happen, why do you charge for it?

If you are so altruistic, why not do it for free?

You've got to remember, you're not gonna bullsh*t me.

I remember back when you were offering "consulting services" solely because you wanted to "help agents"...then you were offering contracts, because you wanted to "help agents". Now, you're offering an "association" because you want to "help agents"?

The common thread in your attempt to "help agents" is that you make money off of them.

Why don't you just tell the truth?

for the people in the cheap seats

I think you're forgetting that I've seen this all before.

More than once.

You've chosen to associate yourself with the likes of Gary Prado. He gets caught doing false posts (which he of course denies) and gets busted by Sam.

You send me a PM telling me you're getting rid of him "when you can find another vendor". Two months later, he's still there.

Did you tell your "members" that benepath (your "approved vendor") stiffed a LOT of vendors in a BK?

No, you told me he "deserved another chance..."

C'mon John.
