Contacting Hometown Quotes

Has anybody had trouble contacting HTQ lately? I have been trying to get in touch with them all day and I can't get anyone on the phone. I have an email and a voice mail in to Bob Klee, but so far I haven't heard anything.

It usually takes a day or two for them to get back to me. I'd give them until the end of the day tomorrow at least.
 
Got it handled.

Had "flu bug" take out 5 of our folks today....everyone on the phones including me!

FYI: Always remember: [email protected] gets routed to the person/team/department right away & we can handle emails faster than phone calls!

It's all good. I did talk to Bob Klee directly, just a few minutes after I emailed him. Now, if I could just arrange a few "flu days" for myself, maybe I could improve my golf scores....:1laugh:
 
I have not had a good experience with Hometown Quotes after ordering Health leads from them. We called and spoke with a girl named Lauren that NEVER got back with me. I then called them again and spoke to a nice guy that sold us HEALTH leads. We ordered them and WAITED AND WAITED. A week goes by and we finally got them AFTER they tell us that we had TOO many filters on them. I wanted to give my business to someone in my home state. The best Health leads out there are PROSPECT AMERICA folks.

Actually, it is funny you ask! I help my boyfriend from home with selling Health insurance across the country. So no I don't work for Prospect America at all. We have gone through many health lead vendors. It's just my opinion and what we encountered.

Thanks, now that you've posted it twice and bashed HTQ twice, maybe you can move on to something else.

No idea who you are "mkking" but I detect some truth in what you posted but I wish you'd make a more concise/detailed complaint other than my sales gal dropped the ball in calling you back. Oh, & you waited too long to get leads....

I do know of an agent that Lauren dropped the ball in getting back with as you say. [okay, anyone here have a "Perfect" sales rep, please let me know] She has over 10 years of working as a CSR in 2 Allstate agencies so generally, she is pretty good...but human.

I also know that we did have an agent that wanted pretty highly filtered health leads & we just could not generate any Quality much less Quantity of them. We could send you a bunch of Quantity "industry standard" leads but you would have indeed complained about the Quality then vs. getting few/no leads...I don't know for sure since I am not sure whom your boyfriend is.

? for you: Did we take your boyfriends money or did we refund it since we couldn't get him the Quality/Quantity you/he wanted?

Does it mean we are "bad" because we couldn't provide many leads based on what you posted?

I'll be the first to admit that HometownQuotes.com is not perfect. I personally don't know a perfect person, much less a perfect company. But we will always be honest with our agents & we continually strive to get better. If you'll email/PM me your info, I'd be happy to check into the details.
