I own a mail house in Las Vegas, NV. The good news, no spam from me! The bad news, your mail house has no excuse not providing you the receipt from the post office. Business mail requires more than 5 forms for each mailing, then it is inspected and weighed. After it is deemed acceptable you are provided a certified a receipt. The receipt shows a dollar amount, but no other breakdown. However, when preparing the forms for the mailing, the post office superficially asks if this is being sent on behalf of a client. If so, they want their name so they can put it on the certified receipt. As to comingling mail, it's frowned upon in the industry unless the clients are affiliated. For instance, two agents from the same office.
