Do SNF days reset when you change MAPDs?

I have a client who is in SNF with an Aetna MAPD. They may be there for a while. I had thought that the only way to reset SNF days was for the client to be discharged for at least 60 days. I spoke with some other agents and some had thought that the SNF benefit would reset if my client enrolled in a new MAPD with a different carrier. Can somebody help me clarify if the SNF days only reset if the client has been discharged for 60 days, or if my client is able to reset their SNF days by simply changing MAPDs to a new carrier?
