EIDM "Provisioning Error"

I just received the following message from EIDM Support:

"You are being contacted because the ID which you created at the CMS Portal (https://portal.cms.gov) had a provisioning error which was corrected as of 09/24/2013.

Please try logging in to the CMS Portal to request the Agent/Broker role and continue your registration and Identity Proofing process.

If you have any additional questions or concerns please contact the XOSC Helpdesk at 855-267-1515 or CMS_FEPS@cms.hhs.gov"


I thought that I had completed the ID verification process. I completed my personal ID info and answered the specific Equifax questions. Is there anything else to this process?


I have been trying the 800# every few minutes, to the tune of a "busy signal." I know the automated response to that 800# indicates that the reps answering the phone will not be able to help you with your EIDM registration. Does anyone know of another number to call for this?

FYI:

I did reach a rep at: Helpdesk at 855-267-1515 (1 hr 20 min on hold)

- They mentioned that they were not sure why this email was
reading the way that it is, and that they had just received a
call from another agent regarding this. They confirmed that
my ID Verification was current, and that I did not need to continue
anything as the email stated...

"continue your registration and Identity Proofing process"

It will be the tip of the iceberg once the ACA kicks in and then we find out why they should have read the legislation.
