Email Auto-reply to Leads

I see some paid services out there but are there any free programs that will automatically reply?

Example: I get an email with a lead, the program picks out the email within the lead and sends a generic email to them from my email address.

I can do an automatic out-of-office type reply but that would just go to the lead source.

You're asking a lot out of a system to pick an email out of your inbox and start an automated series of some sort. Unless you're collecting the leads directly from your site, you're not going to find too many options on this.

It's not asking too much from a computer program, and the paid services are pricey. It's an easy enough script to write and I could do it myself if I just had a home computer to leave running all day, but I don't.

I was thinking he could get a decent chromebook for under $200 and a older laptop for $100.

In my case, I could write more business if I had a phone but don't know how to get one.

Sadly, no. At my income level the penalty is only $150 so I didn't buy insurance.

Although I do get free cheese. This is California.
