Encryption Email Service

Right, of course. Virtru Pro offers a BAA and Hipaa rule pack. Integration with Gmail and a dashboard with access to all emails sent, etc. It looks like a winner to me at this point.

Interesting. I'll have to check them out.

I've been using zixmail for at least 5 years.. no problems at all.. runs about $110/year per seat, which works great for a small agency IMO.

I have a small agency & would like to start using email encryption service to send secure emails that require a login to obtain attachments that I send, such as applications to insurance companies, etc.

My questions are: Can anyone suggest an email service that is moderately priced, and, will insurance companies accept attachments that require them to setup a User Name & Password?

Any insight is appreciated.

Might want to ask Bryan Pagliano for some insight.

Well on second thought, maybe not :D

Regular (free) Gmail includes encryption automatically but it is not a level that meets HIPAA guidelines.

If you want encrypted email, and need HIPAA standards, make sure the product offers what you need.

You can pay $10 per month for the full Enterprise Gmail and it is HIPAA compliant.

You get all of the google work apps with that as well. That means unlimited storage on Google Drive, google docs, calendar, etc. If you use an android phone it all syncs perfectly and makes work life super easy.

Do these email encryption services integrate with outlook?

Yes I believe it does with Virtru. You can try it for 2 weeks for free, but it does not have ALL the enhancements that the paid version has.

Make sense?

Not that this matters but...I sent a secure Virtru email to Humana Comm arearecently to see if the person I regularly communicate with thought the system was clunky or not and she said it was one of the easiest she has seen. Go figure, and we all know Humana is IT challenged.... :/

Thanks. The $10/mo gmail acct seems more affordable right now.

Not sure what you mean, the service with the BAA will run around $160 for the year. That is what I would sign up for personally.

Google will include a BAA with the full Enterprise version. All of their apps (cloud storage) is covered too.

But obviously the price difference is tiny.
