final expense

The 100 on trans is the old product. Yes, I wanted to slow down the calls from the young guns just calling because of the commissions that are not even close to fitting with us. I don't have enough hours in my day to hear the big pitch of how he's going to telesales his way into the record books or the team builders that don't know Trans from Trannies.

Now new agents start at 100 with a 5-month path to 110 and an additional 6-month path to 120%. It's doing what it's supposed to do. The new agents calling in a fewer but much more aware of what we do and have done their homework.
You need to review the individual company pages. They still show the old commission rates.

Good luck with a new agent buying his own leads and only getting 100% after chargebacks. He's not going to net squat . I think you were pressured to take those rates down from your website by carriers . Like you never showed commission levels on moo or foresters . Every independent agency on the net always says starting commissions of 70- 110% . You were the only one publicly displaying 120% in a commission grid . Just like you see few Fmo's talking they make 145-155%. You were causing problems for other Fmo's with agents who saw your public commission grid . But your correct 95% of agents who fail never had a chance as there commissions are way low ti be profitable

Ah! That is right.

Every company has had pressure about that from the enormous pyramid agencies. But only three companies buckled to them. Two of them said we just needed to have people call in to find out what the levels were. One of them made us slightly lower the starting commission level from what we have been doing.

But none of that was the reason for the change. It was mainly two things. Too many agents calling in that knew nothing about us, but just calling for the commission levels when they were nowhere even close to a fit of an agent that I would take on. But also some of the agents that were a good fit for us. When I talked to them they were already under the impression that we would not have any training or leads or anything, but commission levels. Or making the assumption that if they signed on somewhere at 80%, they would have much better training and support than they would at 120%. They didn't understand. The difference in percentage was just going to all the layers of middleman they were adding at the MLM's. They thought it was going into more quality agent support.

So starting at the higher commission level levels, just seem like it was working against us a little bit.

Our goal is to get everyone up to the higher levels, not to keep them down.

The only problems a company would have is if you are posting above the particular company's street level. They were not posting above street level, so it was not the companies that made them lower it.
