Better and "fixed benefit" should not be used in the same sentence.
By the way, Assurant is ceasing sale of their Health Access on 12/31/14.
And, it's illegal to sell a fixed benefit plan without a MEC plan in place, meaning it can only be used as a supplement to a major medical.
You should learn your market a little better.
