I've been noticing these "preapproved" planrights with Foresters is taking over a WEEK to be issued after they are faxed. Are they getting more business than usual? 7-8 days to issue a policy is too long when it is already underwritten and approved on the phone.

Starting to hate that Canadian company. If not for the rates and the fact that they do point of sale approval (inspite of a 20 min PHI), I'd be using someone else as my preferred carrier. Wish Americo did point of sale approval as they truly are a breeze to work with compared to Foresters.

I emailed the national sales manager on this. Because I had 3 policies sitting for 6-7 business days. He said they went through a big software update, and created a backlog. They were behind 5 days. They are now caught up. My certificates both got issued Friday after 7 business days.

They are making some big changes to make issuing even faster, but in the mean time it got slower. haha.

That has been their excuse for the six years that I have been contracted with them. You would think that they would have this "software" problem fixed by now?

Of course, it could the guy working on it that designed their website?

I had similar problems on my 1st few apps....took 5-6 days from date of fax to even SEE it in back office. Now last few have been showing up in 2-3 days.

2 weeks ago submitted one on Saturday and was issued on Wednesday. Only 3 business days.
