Getting Started, Need Some Advise!!!!

Well by those definitions i get paid like an independant agent but i am captive. I have to pay for all my leads, office supplies, office space and all marketing. I might as well be an independant.

what would be a good life general agency to work for or a good captive company to work for?

I'm in the same situation. What companies are captive and pay a salary?

The problem is that the market is flooded with new agents and a lot of the capt companies dont train like they use to just years ago. They don't have to.
