GPM Life Anybody Use Them?

I would advise you to take another look at GPM. They have production, placed and persistency bonuses for producers AND managers. They also have a deferred compensation program that an agent can deposit up to $6,000 per year into, once the agent's annual commissions have reached $35,000. GPM will match 50% of the agent'contribution up to $3,000. They also have a $40.00 lead bonus!! All an agent needs to do is submit a minimum of 5 applications per calendar month to qualify and once the premium drafts successfully for 2 concecutive months, the bonus is paid.

Sounds pretty good!

1. How long is the POS and is there a second call that can happen when the agent is not there? Do they ask the client to give the prescriptions or just the agent?

2. Are approvals made at the end of the POS? What percentage?

3. What is their underwriting process? Do they pull an MIB, prescription check, possible Dr Records?

4. As an independent agent, I like to write certain carriers for their niches. What are the Niches? IOW, Trans and Americo takes folks with COPD for First Day coverage!

5. Are you an agent, a marketer, or a GPM employee?

For a 50 year old male they were the 16th best option. I guess they would get a participation trophy....

True, I also noticed for a 60 year old female/NT/10k, they were #4 on the quote tool here in Florida!

I do like how they offer the "deferred compensation program that an agent can deposit up to $6,000 per year into, once the agent's annual commissions have reached $35,000. GPM will match 50% of the agent'contribution up to $3,000" I wish my primary carrier would offer me this!

If this is true!
